Record a wired charging comparison
Save conditions and observations, then export TXT or JSON.
iPhone 13 · standard model
Keep the cable, adapter and outlet beside each result. A changed response is useful evidence, even when the internal cause remains unknown.
Stop for swelling, damage, unusual heat or a liquid alert. Do not keep reconnecting a wet connector. Use the liquid-alert task before considering any wired comparison.
Fill in the worksheet in a text editor or print it. Use a task below for a saved, exportable record.
First confirm the standard iPhone 13 and read the wired-charging task. Use only undamaged, compatible accessories. If a safe alternative is unavailable, record that check as not performed.
| Observation | Keep in the record |
|---|---|
| A response appears with the other cable | The response changed under that cable condition. This does not establish battery health or prove which part failed. |
| No response under either safe setup | Both observed conditions and the time spent. Leave internal cause unknown. |
| Several things changed together | The comparison is inconclusive. Record every change; do not assign the result to one accessory. |
| No safe spare, or a stop condition | Why the check was not performed. A missing comparison is still useful for service. |

Use the dedicated stop-and-dry guidance if the connector may be wet.
Bring saved charging observations and unfinished checks together.
Accessory condition, charging response and charging pauses need different checks.
