Intermittent sleep and unexpected wake log
Collect repeated sleep conditions before treating a single wake event as a stable fault.
Planning estimate for recording observations; excludes charging, backups, drying and service. Not a measured repair time.

If safe, observe again with one documented accessory restored. Record recovery each time. If forced shutdown becomes necessary, stop repetition and take the log to Apple.

Check the result
- Events have actual conditions and results.
- Unexpected wake and absent display are distinguished.
Stop conditions
- Stop using and charging equipment with swelling, casing separation, smoke, a burning smell or suspected battery damage. Do not open or press on it.
- Set damaged accessories aside. Do not open mains adapters or force connectors.
- Do not erase, reset, flash firmware or bypass a lock as a default diagnostic step.
